Reproduction porcelain ginger jar lamp with hand-painted green and white bird and flower design. Assembled on an acrylic base with round drum shade in white. Shade in ivory/cream is available upon request. Features real brass hardware with hand-rubbed antique finish, 3-way turn knob switch. Made with foot-stomped clay.
Foot-stomped porcelain is made with a rustic form of clay that is literally mixed together by stomping on the clay. This type of clay is more primitive and less refined, containing minerals and other materials that react with the heat in the kiln and result in beautiful blemishes, marks, cracks, and imperfections. This creates an antiqued, unique finish that is intentional.
Handmade and hand decorated, no two are exactly alike. Pairs and groups must be ordered together to ensure a close match. Measurements are approximate. Photo should be used as a reference. Colors in the photo may vary depending on device and screen used for viewing. Final product may vary in color, shape, size and feature imperfections not shown in the photo that provide more character.
