Every color sets a mood. “Color changes your life” Carleton Varney would often say, and indeed it does. I think yellow is the happiest of colors. The color hosts childhood freedom of sunny days, from daffodils, summer dresses, lemon meringue pies to kites and balloons. By day yellow offers a freshness and in evening a warmth. Because it’s a neutral color it compliments art, fabrics and furnishings. The visitors in that joyful room will also be at ease.
